Ruby's experience running art and design workshops started in 2009 while working at a Montessori Training Centre in Mwanza, Tanzania. This morphed into art workshops in Matakana and Auckland ​before Ruby headed North to facilitate architecture and design workshops for the company she co-founded, ĀKAU.
