In the wake of the covid pandemic Ruby found herself looking deeply into mental health, particularly maternal mental health, as a result of her own pre and post partum experiences. The resulting hand drawn work explores the tension between the joy of being around children and being a mother and the constant tenuous link to sanity. Ruby's intention for the bubble series is to bring a moment of lightness, while acknowleging the heaviness and importance of mental health. A3 limited edition prints available for purchase.
